View Saved Passwords Firefox

An example is when you get a new Android smartphone and need your Google Account username and password to use quite a few services.

Here’s how easy it is to find the passwords you’ve saved in Firefox. First, press Alt to see the Firefox pull-down menus. Then, go to Tools, then Options.

In the window that pops up, click the Security tab, then the Saved Passwords button, like I did below.

You’ll get a window showing a list of saved passwords and usernames. It also has a very handy search tool, in case you have tons of them saved. Click “Show Passwords”, then confirm, and your passwords will be displayed.

It’s really that easy! This lets you see and save (to a text file) all your passwords at once – as they’re in a text file you can also copy and paste a password from it instead of having to type it in manually on the new pc. Comment
