Apple has now started sending delivery notifications to customers that their Apple Watch orders have ‘shipped’, ready for the launch tomorrow. Many users on Twitter are tweeting their orders to show that the status has changed to shipped (or dispatched, internationally).

Customers can now track their orders as they go out for delivery. So far, it seems that only US orders have entered this stage. Shipping notifications for international customers in the launch countries are likely to follow soon.

The launch of Apple Watch has been muddled. Although Apple Stores will not be offering the Watch at retail until June at the earliest, some fashion boutiques will have stock. Online orders remain severely back-ordered but Apple says that some orders will ship earlier than they first expected. Somewhat contradictorily, some customers have received vague ‘we are working on your order’ notifications from Apple.

Update: Readers reporting international shipping too!

Na dann bestehe ich aber auf „..vor dem 24.4“ 😅 #AppleWatch pic.twitter.com/h4ZLB28Vtk
