How to fix TUF F15/A15 Bluetooth Not Working or Pairing Issue?

Since it is not possible to figure out which solution might work on a particular system, you have to try all the solutions one after the other until you find one that works for you.

Ensure the Bluetooth is enabled:

The Bluetooth device, by default, is enabled. But if for some reason it was disabled, then it won’t work no matter how much you try. You need to enable it again. The process for that is simple.

  • Press and hold Windows Key + X and choose “Device Manager” from the list of options.
  • Expand Bluetooth in the device manager window and right-click on your Bluetooth device’s name.
  • Choose “Enable Device.”

Now close every window and try using the Bluetooth again. If it still does not work well, try the next solution.

Restart the computer:

Sometimes most basic functions of a Windows computer malfunction if the system was turned off the last time abruptly or forcefully. A full system restart can fix it, though. So give this a try as well. Click on the start button, go to power and then choose restart.

Wait till your computer restarts completely, and then try using the Bluetooth again. If it still does not work well, try the next solution.

Run Bluetooth Diagnosis via MyASUS:

MyAsus is an application that is present on almost all Asus laptops. If it is not available in yours, download and install it from the Microsoft store.

  • Open MyAsus and select Customer Support.
  • Go to System Diagnosis and then check the box for Bluetooth.
  • Finally, click on Checkup.

Reinstall Bluetooth drivers:

Reinstalling Bluetooth drivers will completely clean your Bluetooth driver files and install them again.

  • Press and hold Windows Key + X and choose “Device Manager” from the list of options.
  • Expand Bluetooth in the device manager window and right-click on your Bluetooth device’s name.
  • Choose “Uninstall Device.”
  • The Uninstall Device window will show up. Click on the Uninstall button, and the device will be removed from the computer.
  • Now, go back to the Device Manager window and right-click on Bluetooth.
  • Then select the Scan for hardware changes option. This will install the drivers for your headset again. Just do not disconnect the headset from your computer during the entire process.

Update Bluetooth drivers:

If the previous solution did not work, give this a try. This is because, on some occasions, problems with Bluetooth can be resolved simply by updating the Bluetooth drivers. Windows need up-to-date drivers to stay compatible with every possible device out there. So if you are on outdated drivers, update the drivers right away. That might solve your problem with the Bluetooth not working properly.

There are three ways to update a driver. You can do it automatically, manually, or using a third-party application.

To do it automatically, you can use Windows device manager.

  • Press and hold Windows Key + X and choose “Device Manager” from the list of options.
  • Expand Bluetooth in the device manager window and right-click on your Bluetooth device’s name.
  • Choose “Update Driver.”
  • Choose “Search automatically for updated driver software.”
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and install the driver update that shows up.

You need to visit the Asus support website for the manual process and look for the driver setup file. It will be like any other software installation file. Once you find the setup file, install it on your computer as with any other application.

Besides these two methods, you also have a third option. You can install a third-party driver utility tool on your computer, and it will automatically scan your computer for any outdated or missing drivers. It will also install the latest drivers on your computer with a simple click. However, these utility software tools usually have a price tag. But the price is well worth it as you don’t need to worry about drivers on your computer even again.

Run Bluetooth troubleshooter:

Windows is aware that its users occasionally run into different kinds of errors. To help their users, Windows has included a troubleshooter utility feature in the operating system using which the user can fix some of their device-related issues.

  • Press Windows key + I to open up Windows settings.
  • Click on Update & Security.
  • Click on the “Troubleshoot” tab in the left pane of the Update & Security settings window.
  • Then in the right pane, click on Bluetooth and then click on the option “Run the Troubleshooter.”
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process for Bluetooth.
  • Finally, restart your computer.
