Now, without wasting any more time, let’s jump into the guide below.

1. Charge both Earbuds and Charging Case Sufficiently

You should check your Pixel Buds as well as the charging case if they’re sufficiently charged or not. If not, then place the Pixel Buds inside the case properly and then charge the case for around 30 minutes before trying pairing the earbuds again. Due to the low battery level on the earbuds or even on the charging case, the Bluetooth connectivity or pairing issue mat appear mostly.

2. Turn On Bluetooth and Pair Again

It’s also recommended to turn off and wait for a couple of minutes then turn on Bluetooth again to try pairing the Pixel Buds. Without turning off/on Bluetooth, you can also try turning on/off Airplane mode on your mobile to refresh the networking connectivity glitch.

  • Make sure to confirm that Bluetooth is turned on and your Pixel Buds are within the range of connectivity strength.
  • Additionally, head over to the device Settings menu > Turn Bluetooth off and on.
  • Wait for the Pixel Buds to automatically reconnect with your previously connected device. It may take several seconds. If required, you can change which device you’re connected to by selecting ‘Pixel Buds’ from the Bluetooth menu on your device.

3. Remove/Forget Pixel Buds from your phone

The third thing you can do is to simply remove or forget your Pixel Buds from the handset (Bluetooth list) and then try reconnecting or pairing them again. Sometimes this trick also comes in handy to most affected users whatsoever. To do so:

  • Check for a pop-up notification on your phone and tap on it to complete the pairing process.

Note: On some Android devices, you may need to look for your Google Pixel Buds or Pixel Buds A-Series in the Bluetooth Settings menu then add them as a new device.

4. Ensure your Pixel Buds are responding

You should also check out whether your Pixel Buds are responding properly or not. To cross-check it, make sure to follow the steps below:

  • Plug the Pixel Buds charging case into a power source using the dedicated USB-C cable.
  • Now, make sure to remove the Pixel Buds from the case.
  • Put back one earbud inside the case again and watch for the earbuds status light to blink. If the light turns orange that means it’s charging and if it’s white then your earbuds are fully charged.
